The ShorePort Stand Off Connection creates two dock-side support points for a pipe-guided ShorePort installation. Each stand-off uses overlapping galvanized plates to adjust the pipe offset, then captures the pipe with a stainless U-bolt. The pair can be used in approved layouts that connect a ShorePort to a standing dock, seawall or deck, or where a floating-dock installation needs the added restraint of a pipe system.

Installation Requires a Structurally Suitable Mounting Surface
The official installation uses the stand-off plate as a template and requires drilled, through-bolted attachment points in the dock frame. Do not fasten the assembly to decking alone or to a member that cannot carry the anchoring loads.
Measure the center-to-center distance between the ShorePort pipe guides before drilling so both stand-off assemblies line up with the pipes.
Stand-Off System or Flexi-Hinge?
Choose stand-off and pipe anchoring when the official layout calls for greater restraint, connection to a fixed dock or seawall, or rougher-water support.
Choose a Flexi-Hinge for a compatible calm-water connection between one ShorePort and a traditional floating dock.

Does it attach directly to the ShorePort?
No. The stand-off mounts to the dock, seawall or supporting structure. Separate pipe-guide brackets attach to the ShorePort.
What size pipe does it hold?
The ShorePort installation layouts use 2-inch Schedule 40 steel pipe. The pipe is not included with this kit.
Can it be used with a floating dock?
It can be used in specific floating-dock pipe-anchoring layouts, especially where a Flexi-Hinge is not appropriate. Confirm that the dock structure and complete ShoreMaster layout support the installation.
Will I need to drill the dock frame?
Yes. The official instructions call for through-drilled mounting holes and bolted attachment to the supporting frame. Verify access and structural suitability before ordering.
