The ShorePort Flexi-Hinge Assembly creates a flexible front connection between one ShorePort and a traditional wood or metal floating dock. The two rubber-belt hinge assemblies allow the port and dock to move with changing water while maintaining a defined perpendicular loading position. The adjustable slotted hardware helps align the ShorePort height with the dock during installation.

The Rubber Belt Must Be Level Under Load
Install and adjust the extension plates so the rubber belt is horizontal when the PWC is loaded on the ShorePort. A belt held at an angle or under constant strain can damage the connection or port.
For multiple ShorePorts mounted side by side, use at least one approved connection assembly per port and follow the complete ShoreMaster layout instructions.
Front Mount or Parallel Mount?
Choose this kit when the ShorePort will extend straight out from the face of a traditional floating dock.
Choose the parallel kit when one ShorePort will run alongside the dock for side access to the PWC.

Is it appropriate for rough water?
The ShorePort instructions direct owners in heavy boat traffic or waves greater than approximately 18 inches to use stand-off and pipe-bracket anchoring instead of relying on a Flexi-Hinge connection.
Can this kit connect PolyDock to a wood or metal floating dock?
The same flexible-hinge concept can be used in certain PolyDock transition applications, but the layout and hardware must be confirmed for the specific dock sections being connected.
What tools are needed?
Installation typically requires common wrenches, sockets, measuring tools and appropriate tools for fastening the extension plates to the dock. Follow the official instructions for fastener locations and torque.
