This Handrail Mounts to the Dock Beside the Lift
Although it is called a boat lift handrail, the accessory attaches to the dock frame next to the lift. It should be positioned where it provides a useful grip without obstructing the boat, canopy, lift travel or walking path.
This product is an assist handle, not a code-rated guardrail or fall-protection system. Inspect the connectors and adjustment hardware before each season.
Installation Notes
Attach the two leg pockets to the correct dock connectors, slide the handle legs into position, adjust the height evenly and tighten the set screws according to the instructions.
ShoreMaster lists a maximum height of approximately 57 inches. Set the rail only as high as needed for a secure, comfortable grip.
