120V Electrical Safety Requirements
- The motor must be used with a properly installed ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI)-protected 120V circuit.

Is 120V the Right Motor Configuration?
Choose 120V when a code-compliant AC power source is already available and you prefer not to maintain batteries or solar equipment.
Choose the 12/24V ShoreMaster motor kit when battery power is more practical. Choose Gen 6 when app control, programmable positions and multiple control methods are priorities.

Does this motor plug into a standard outlet?
It requires a properly installed 120V shoreline circuit with GFCI protection and a suitable marine-rated, grounded power connection. Do not use an unprotected dock outlet or improvised wiring.
Do I need a battery for the 120V model?
No. The 120V model operates from AC shoreline power rather than a marine battery. If running safe, code-compliant AC service to the dock is not practical, consider the 12/24V battery-powered version instead.
Can I add the 15-foot corded pendant?
Yes, the optional corded pendant is intended for compatible key-turn Boat Lift Boss motors equipped with the accessory pigtail. It cannot be used with the wireless-remote motor configuration.
Does the kit include the Whisper Winch?
No. The bundle includes the ShoreMaster-specific mounting components used to connect the motor to an existing compatible Whisper Winch. The winch and boat lift are not included.
How is this different from Gen 6?
This Gen 5 motor provides straightforward key-turn or wireless-remote operation. Gen 6 adds Bluetooth app control, an on-unit keypad, programmable upper, lower and boarding positions, auto-run/auto-stop features and quick-service electronics.

Whisper Winch 2.0, boat lift, boss turn key 120 V
The products came very quickly and are on the lift and working great. Glad that Shoremaster let me purchase the products from them instead of the local dealer who doesn’t seem to care about business anymore.

120V Shoremaster Lift Motor
The motor has good torque to raise my shoremaster lift and 19’ boat, but the unit has a slight wobble when doing so. Not sure if this is normal. A second support bracket on the bottom of the unit would probably help.
