There is no element on any dock system that connects more closely to the user than the decking. The decking on any dock system is the first thing everyone will see as they walk toward the dock, it is the first thing they will touch as they step onto the dock, and it is the first thing that creates a feeling of safety and stability as they continue their walk on the dock. This is why ShoreMaster has invested so much time and effort into its decking options. It is why we not only offer the industry’s most options, but also why we’ve carefully considered the design and construction of our decking. We build the strength of the dock into the frame itself, we don’t rely on the decking to do so (unlike some manufacturers) so we are able to offer recessed, removable decking which makes your system easier to assemble, install, remove and upgrade. It allows your system to work for you, not the other way around.
